The Virginia Annual Conference Women in Ministry
McCargo - Lawson Memorial Scholarship
2022 – 2023
Rev. Pamela Jones Watford
Sister Kesha Wilson
It is indeed a pleasure to recognize and congratulate the Reverend Pamela Watford Jones and Sister Kesha Wilson, on being awarded the McCargo-Lawson Memorial Scholarship for the academic year 2022-2023. Reverend McCargo and Reverend Dr. Lawson were pioneers within the Virginia Annual Conference. They both served as a strong support system that was there to offer moral and emotional support to the women entering ministry.
Congratulations are in order as well to the Reverend Pamela B. Jones Watford, who received her Master of Divinity from Payne Theology Seminary during the Fall graduation class of 2022. She graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude)
Congratulations & Best Wishes

Words of Encouragement by Reverend Dana Porter Ashton, Worship Leader
Blessings and Love My WIM Sisters,
Great News! The Lord has shifted the WIM Words of Encouragement. He has shown me that there are many of you who love to encourage others and NOW is your chance. Beginning this month, I am inviting you to join me in writing the monthly Words of Encouragement.
How? Simply email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) your submission with a little bit about yourself. Once received, I will review it and forward it for publication. Listen, please remember these are words of ENCOURAGEMENT and NOT a sermon or dissertation. You know what I mean...don't send me 3 pages (unless it's 3 different months) because it will not be included.
